Mingle to Muse: 5 to 7 years

Mingle to Muse program is designed for kids 5 to 7 years of age where they learn to get a grip of basic drawing skills, coloring and confidently use different materials. From developing understanding of how to utilize basic shapes in specific scale and proportion to create balanced and beautiful compositions to coloring using light and show is the intention of this class. 

Instructors guide students to objectively observe their surroundings and translate what they see onto paper incorporating different materials such as paints, pastels, paper, clay, charcoal and more.

A typical class is guided by our fun loving and patient art instructor as they work with a range of supplies such as different types of paper, canvas, clay, collage, and other coloring medium. Students develop their understanding in color theory, textures, techniques, and use of fine art vocabulary. It offers the space where our students get into serious work of art making by mingling with different materials, engaging in listening, following the directions of the instructor as they muse into the world of creativity.

This program has 3 categories and runs for 2-3 years followed by other age appropriate and curriculum grounded Constructive program. The class instructor usually lets the parents know when the student is ready for the next level. Parents can then sign up the student at that time to Challenge to Create.
