What to Expect

Choice of Art Camp or Pottery Camp

Art Camp and Pottery Camp are two separate camps. We are not able to switch the students from one camp to another camp in the same week. Please discuss about this with your child before making a booking so that they know what to expect.

Students join their age-appropriate groups during the camp based on following age categories:

Explore:  3-4 years  Muse: 5-7 years

Challenge: 8-10 years Unleash 11+ years

Before and After Care Options

We work hard to customize our camps to make it enjoyable not only to our students but also for the parents. Before and After Care services are optional and can be chosen per daily basis.

Before care starts at 8am

After care is available till 6-6.30pm

Full Day Camp is 9am to 4pm

What students learn?

Art Camp - Students in art camp get to work with different projects such as paint on canvas, sketching, pen and ink, collage and mix media, clay, paper crafts and more. Students bring their masterpieces home at the end of each day and the week. Starting from the basics of how to draw, understand basic shapes, composition, scale and proportion to get on paper students learn complex techniques of blending, strokes and coloring using different types of pencils, pens, paint brushes and paints.

Pottery Camp - Students in pottery camp work on pottery wheel for half day and hand building projects for half day every week. Students learn the process of making a piece, trimming it and glazing in during the 5 days of camp period. Parents need to pick up the student's project on the 10th or 11th day after the camp completion date so that they are fired and fully ready for use.

All projects in the camp are carefully designed to keep the variety and uniqueness of the weekly themes.

Why Art Camp and Why Pottery Camp?

Art Camp Benefits - Students gets immersive experience of working with hundreds of visual art materials in this camp ranging from stickers making to scratch art, greeting cards to canvas painting, paper crafts to pen and ink prints, sketching to collage making. This is the best time to use their imagination and dive deeper into the world of visual creativity and self-expression.

Pottery Camp Benefits - If your child likes to get their hands messy with clay or make things with touch and use of tools, pottery camp is a great place for them. Children develop their motor skills, 3D visualization, understand the science behind using clay and glazes to make their unique ceramic and pottery pieces. Students will get to see the kiln and learn the firing process as part of this camp.

With either camp our students get trained in practicing patience and focus, taking care of artistic materials and supplies, cleaning up and respecting the creative environment of the studio.

Fun Artistic Experience and Connection

While the focus for all our students is to develop their artistic techniques of visual expression, get confident in the use of materials and skillful in their artistic practice, equal importance is given to the free time where students get to play, make new friends and connect. All students' learning time is balanced with a mix of play time, lunch time, snacks time and clean up time. Options of indoor play (board games) and outdoor play in the safe settings on the studio premise are available to all campers.
