Let your child explore the joy of clay and creativity! Students will design keepsake hand-built pottery pieces, experiment with different types of clay, and express their artistic imagination in a fun, engaging environment.

📅 Session Dates: January 22 – April 2 (10 weeks)
🕑 Thursdays | 3:30 – 5 PM
📍 Venue: Art Room, Tambark Creek Elementary School

    (No class Feb 19 – School Holiday)

🌟 Creative with Clay Program – Tambark Creek Elementary School🌟

Benefits of this program :

Students learn to work with different types of clay and glazing materials such as kiln fired clay, air dry clay, glazes on bisque and acrylic paints on air dry clay projects.

Students learn Handbuilding clay techniques such as pinch pot, coil work and slab technique to create their projects using clay.

This program gives an understanding of 3D shapes and how they work together to create a complex structure that can stand. It also enhances their visualization in 3D forms.

Students will create at least 3 kiln fired projects will be a keep sake for their life time memory of this time and their age.

Most importantly it develops a sense of self-confidence and fulfillment in children when they create something and show to everyone –  “Look, I made this!”. The happiness in their eyes and smile on their face is all worth registering in this program.
