Challenge to Create program for children 7+ years of age is designed to develop a broader understanding of the artistic process while covering complex topics such as pet portrait, landscape, figure drawing, still life, free hand and more. 

Students explore the fundamental principles of art and design including perspective, form, composition, light and shadow through creating projects like collage, canvas painting, mixed media, sculpture, and sketches.

This program has 3 categories and runs for 2-3 years followed by next level curriculum grounded in advance program. The class instructor usually lets the parents know when the student is ready for the next level. Parents can then sign up the student at that time to Advance.

 

Enrollment Options for Challenge to Create(ages 7 to 11) 1.5 hour once a week class
