Getting Messy with Clay is Fun
This session offers a unique experience of shaping clay to our students with their own hands using potter wheels, understanding shapes, forms and structure in 3 dimension and how to make color choices when they glaze their masterpieces. Pottery artworks of all our students are baked in the kiln as final completion of the process.
Age: 10 years and up
Session Dates: Oct 6th to Dec 15th. Studio closed during thanksgiving week.
Students learn to Wedge, Create 3D objects with texture and patterns, Use slip and score method, Work on Potters wheel and glaze to complete unique clay creations.All Materials and Tools included. Student will get first bag free (25 pound clay). Additional clay is available to purchase. Unlimited Glazing and firing included in the class price
Class structure:
- 10 min Objective
- 15 min Demo
- 50 min Work on project
- 15 min Cleaning
Students get to take home their uniquely created masterpieces and cherish them for life-time.
