Challenge to Create for Ages 7+ to 11
Challenge to Create is our constructive program of artistic growth and development for students 7+ to 11 years of age. It offers the space where our students are challenged to draw still life, human or animal portraits, landscape and more. During the class, students get trained in how they observe things in real life and how to translate it in visual arts using different artistic medium and techniques.
A typical class begins with a few visual art exercises that develops their way of looking at things and understand geometry followed by the guided step by step lesson of the day by our experienced and highly trained art instructors. Students create projects in acrylic paints, oil pastels, charcoal, collage, and mixed media while developing their understanding in color theory, textures, techniques, and use of fine art vocabulary.
This program has 3 categories and runs for 2-3 years followed by next level curriculum grounded Advance program. The class instructor usually lets the parents know when the student is ready for the next level. Parents can then sign up the student at that time to Unlearn to Unleash Class.
